Biography

kim perevalsky

He was born in Kiev, Ukraine, on 11 October 1970. He joined The Ukrainian National School of Arts, Taras Shevchenco, when 11 years old. He continued his training at The Ukrainian Academy of Fine Arts in Kiev (1988-1994). He graduated with the series of etchings entitled, "Demonology."
From 1994 to 1997 he served as professor of drawing, painting and engraving at the Polygraph Institute of the Technical University of Kiev. He has been a member of The Ukrainian Artists’ Union since 1995.

He’s been working part of the time in Ukraine and part of the time in Catalonia (Spain) since 1997. His work is on display in collections in national and municipal museums and private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Poland, The USA, Canada, England, Portugal, Belgium, Holland, Israel, France, Germany, Spain and Catalonia and has been acquired by The Ukrainian Ministry of Culture, The Cabinet of the Presidency of the Ukrainian Government and the History Museum of the City of Girona (Catalonia, Spain).
